Audiometry

Audiometry is the standard test used to measure your hearing level and to identify possible hearing disorders. The audiometer used at our clinic is a sophisticated instrument that provides accurate and reliable measurements of your hearing. Tympanometry
Assessment of middle ear function
Tympanometry is a test that measures the movement of the eardrum and the pressure in the middle ear. It is useful for assessing middle ear function and for detecting possible problems such as infections, fluid build-up or other conditions that may affect hearing. We use advanced tympanometry equipment that provides accurate and detailed information on ear pressure and on the movement of the eardrum, a key part of the middle ear.

Otoacoustic emissions (OAE)
Hearing test using otoacoustic emissions
Otoacoustic emissions (OAE) are a quick and painless test that measures the response of the inner ear to sound. The test is used to assess the health of the hair cells in the inner ear and can help detect hearing loss, even at its earliest stages. OAE is a valuable test for assessing hearing in infants and children, as well as for monitoring the hearing of patients who may be at risk of hearing loss due to various factors.

ABR/BERA
Hearing test through the electrical activity of the nerve
The ABR (Auditory Brainstem Response) or BERA (Brainstem Evoked Response Audiometry) test is one of the most advanced methods for assessing hearing, especially for individuals who find it difficult to respond to other tests. It measures the electrical activity of the hearing nerve and is excellent for assessing hearing in infants, children and patients who have difficulty responding to sounds. ABR/BERA testing is useful for diagnosing hearing loss that may be related to damage to the hearing nerve or to other structures of the auditory system.

ASSR
Test of sound stimulation and nerve activity
ASSR (Auditory Steady State Response) is a test used to assess the response of the nervous system to suitable acoustic stimuli. It is appropriate for assessing hearing in individuals with profound hearing loss or in those who are difficult to test with traditional methods. The ASSR test is a powerful tool for determining the hearing level and for providing valuable information for further care, including the possible use of hearing aids.

Ear microscopy
Detailed inspection of the ear canal and ear structures
The otomicroscope is a device that uses microscopy to inspect the internal structures of the ear in high detail. This examination is particularly useful for diagnosing middle and inner ear problems that may affect hearing, including infections, damage to the eardrum or other disorders of the ear structures. Using the otomicroscope provides a very clear and detailed view of the ear structures, allowing a more accurate diagnosis and a more effective treatment plan.
