RINO Clinic is a specialist clinic for disorders of the ear, nose and throat, located in the centre of Ferizaj. This page explains what we offer here, when a consultation is worthwhile and how a visit unfolds.
Where we are and when we are open
The clinic is located at Astrit Bytyqi Street no. 8, in the centre of Ferizaj. Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00–13:00 and 14:00–18:00, and Saturday 09:00–12:00.
Saturday hours are the most convenient option for patients who work during the week, as well as for those travelling from the surrounding towns — Pristina, Gjilan and Kaçanik are all within a short drive.

What we offer in Ferizaj
The clinic covers the full spectrum of otorhinolaryngology, from the first consultation through to surgery:
- Specialist consultations for the ear, nose and throat, using an otomicroscope and endoscope
- Hearing assessment — audiometry, tympanometry, BERA/ABR and otoacoustic emissions
- Hearing aids — assessment, fitting and follow-up
- Functional surgery — septoplasty, turbinate reduction, tonsils and adenoids
- Aesthetic surgery — rhinoplasty and otoplasty
For most patients, the consultation and any necessary tests are carried out during the same visit. This means you leave with a diagnosis and a clear plan, rather than a list of further appointments.
How the visit works
The visit begins with a conversation about your symptoms and medical history. The specialist then examines the ear, nose and throat — usually with an otomicroscope for the ear and an endoscope for the nose and throat, when a more detailed view is required.
If the findings call for a hearing assessment, audiological tests can be performed during the same visit. At the end, you receive an explanation of the findings and the plan for the next steps, in language that is easy to understand.
Please bring any previous medical reports, test results and a list of the medicines you take. If the visit is for a child, it helps if they arrive well rested — this makes cooperation during the examination easier.
When a consultation is worthwhile
Some symptoms seem to pass on their own, but if they keep returning they are a reason for assessment:
- Earache or a blocked sensation lasting more than a few days
- Hearing loss, even mild, or persistent noise in the ear
- A constantly blocked nose, especially if it disturbs sleep
- Recurrent sore throats or frequent inflammation of the tonsils
- Dizziness and loss of balance
- Hoarseness lasting more than two weeks
- In children: mouth breathing, snoring, or difficulty hearing
Clinical experience since 1992
The clinic has its origins in a practice opened in 1992 by Dr. Afrim Ajeti. From 2000 the focus shifted entirely to otorhinolaryngology, and since 2022 the clinic has operated under the name RINO Clinic in modern premises.
Today the clinic team includes Dr. Afrim Ajeti and Dr. Rinor Ajeti, both specialists in otorhinolaryngology.
